I just wrote one! Give me a break!
Sorry if you think this counts as a spoiler but I'm far too restless to take too long a break from writing. I'd like to give a quick breakdown here of why I'll be busy(-ier) from now on.
Writing on my phone
It's an easy way for me to stop making excuses, and it makes me feel young again because it's so familiar to us Gen Zs. I'll be travelling out of London to see some very dear friends, and I'd like to waste as little time as possible, charging at every opportunity. Rule Two-fifty took me the best part of 21 months, so I guess that would be the latest possible deadline (November 2022), but in case I do finish sooner, be sure to follow my social media for any updates.
For me, Rule Two-fifty's cliffhanger wasn't satisfying enough. Looking through the eyes of the reader, I'm always thinking "What Happens Next?" to the point of irritation. Writing the sequel is my way of bringing the story to a peaceful end.
I'll always have my phone on me, so don't expect my Twitter to suddenly die or anything! Just keep reading books and I'll deliver very soon!
